At its headquarters in Buchs, Zurich (relocating to Cham, Zug as of the third quarter of 2019), AMAG’s 120-person IT department manages the entire IT value creation chain for all areas of the company, from the initial stages of a project through its development and integration to operation and support.

We’re looking for an integrative, solution-oriented individual to maintain our SAP applications as part of our specialist SAP Team.

Your tasks:
  • Process maintenance and optimisation; customisation of SAP SD/CS/MM logistics modules with variant configuration and VMS (IS Automotive)
  • Maintenance of master data and import interfaces, AMAG operations and partner companies
  • Sub-project management during the implementation of new requirements
  • Analysis of customer desires, concept creation and implementation (with the team, other sections of the IT department and partners)
  • 3rd and 2nd Level Business Support for SAP processes

Your skills:
  • Higher education in IT or Business Administration (Bachelor degree)
  • A strong knowledge of SAP; experienced in the customizing of the logistics modules SD, MM, CS, EAM and variant configuration, knowledge of SAP classsification
  • Knowledge of SAP automotive industry solutions is an advantage
  • Knack for interfaces and master data management
  • Knowledge of ABAP development and the integration of interfaces
  • Knowledge of business import and procurement processes
  • Longstanding project experience in an SAP environment; experience in project management
  • Good communication skills and assertiveness
  • Confident spoken and written German; good spoken and written English; knowledge of French and Italian is a plus
